100+ Sitter Hall Soon Available in Lira for Hire

The work of renovating CPAR's 100+ sitter meeting and training hall at its Lira Learning Centre on Plot 5, Makerere Road, Lira Municipality has begun. We were forced to redo the ceiling because the original builders did not adequately insulate the nails - put rain-proof rubber (some kind of material) around the nails that they used for the iron sheets. So over the years, rain water has been dripping through and damaging the ceiling soft boards and the walls. Mr. Fred Kajubi working with a team of talented carpenters, builders and painters that are resident in Lira are hard at work. By 15th July 2018 the work will be complete and the hall will be available for hire.
