Fundraising Update: Support Disadvantaged Student Interns

We are in DAY 10 (which is 48%) of the timeline for our crowd funding initiative through the GlobalGiving September Accelerator and with 11 days to go our stats are:

·         48% (US$ 2,380) of targeted donations are pledged from 68% (27) of the targeted number of donors.

·         29% (US$ 1,430) of targeted donations made by 40% (16) of the targeted number of donors.

In order for CPAR Uganda to graduate, the target that GlobalGiving has set for us is to raise US$ 5,000 from 40 donors by 2nd October 2018.

If we meet this threshold and graduate, we qualify to be permanently featured on the GlobalGiving website; and therefore, have access to corporate relationships and exposure to a new donor network.

To make a minimum donation of US$ 10 (UGX 40,000) or more:

·       By Debit Card, Credit Card or PayPal, click on this link https://goto.gg/34700  and follow the instructions.

·       Cash/Cheque Bank Deposits  onto either one of the following two CPAR Uganda bank accounts with DFCU Bank, both with account name CPAR Uganda: UGX Account Number 01103500267434 OR US$ Account Number 02103501318492. You notify us that you have deposited your donation. Once we receive confirmation of donation, we will buy a GlobalGiving Gift Card in your name and contact you with further instructions to complete the transaction.

·       Mobile Money via +256 773 196 274 in the name of Catherine Itipet, who is the Personal Assistant to our Managing Director. When she receives the donations via mobile money, she will deposit them on to a CPAR Uganda bank account. Once we receive confirmation of donation, we will buy a GlobalGiving Gift Card in your name and contact you with further instructions to complete the transaction.

With your support we are energized and optimistic that we will succeed and that by the end of this year we will have begun to establish our mentorship programme that will Support Disadvantaged Student Interns in Uganda!

On behalf of CPAR Uganda and with gratitude, Ms. Norah Owaraga, Managing Director
