Where Ever You Are, Take Action to End TB

Mr. Alex B. Okello, Permanent Secretary of the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity, Office of the President of the Republic of Uganda, speaking during the high level policy workshops on tuberculosis (TB) in Uganda that were organised and hosted by CPAR Uganda Ltd on Monday, 27th November 2017 in Gulu.  He encouraged each and every one of the participants to take action against TB wherever they are - at work, at home, within their various communities. The workshops were part of CPAR Uganda’s qualitative investigation in to TB in Uganda that it conducted in 2016 to 2017 as part of the University of St. Andrews led research and advocacy project code named: TWENDE (Tuberculosis: Working to Empower the Nations’ Diagnostic Efforts) and which was funded by the EDCTP2 Programme supported by the European Union.
