High Level Policy Workshops on TB in Uganda

On Monday, 27th November 2017, at Bomah Hotel in Gulu Municipality, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CPAR Uganda Ltd will hold high level policy workshops on TB in Uganda.

Participation is by Invitation only. Invited participants total to 70, including:  senior politicians, senior administrators and senior health experts, who are selected from district local governments that are located in the Northern Half of Uganda, key institutions of the Central Government, and representatives of subject relevant non-governmental institutions.

The workshops will be conducted in a style that is characteristic of the conduct of District Integrity Promotion Forums. However, the workshops will also be closed meetings and will be held under the Chatham House Rule.

CPAR Uganda Ltd is conducting the workshops as part of its research and advocacy study project: “Tuberculosis: Working to Empower the Nations’ Diagnostic Efforts (TWENDE)”, that is funded by the European & Developing Countries Clinical Trials Partnership (EDCTP) Association under the EDCTP’s second programme, EDCTP2; and which in turn is funded by the Horizon 2020 European Union Funding for Research and Innovation.
