I finally get a call! The sweet voiced lady on the other side, claiming to be calling from Price Water House Coopers, asks whether I’m still interested in their job. My heart is pounding as I cannot believe what I am hearing.
She asks the class of degree that I have, whether I have anything I’m currently doing.
I get curios when she asks very personal questions and I tell her that from my Human Resource lessons I was told such questions are unethical, but she insists its company policy.

After telling her of how I am single, born-again and searching, she bursts out into laughter, telling me she is Rachael, an old pal and former course mate now working with one of the telecom giants. She tells me that she wanted to say “hi” in a funny way. I cut her off after explaining to her how I will break her neck the next time I meet her.
