Speaking at the official launch of “Changing Our World – Taking Initiative in Our Individual Economic Transformation,” Dr. John Ekure described his latest book as:
“A call to action, an invitation for each of us to be architects of the change we wish to see.
Within these pages you will find stories of resilience, innovation, and the unwavering spirit of those who dared to challenge the status quo.
The book delves into diverse realms – from sustainable practices and technological advancements to social entrepreneurship and beyond.
It challenges us to think beyond the conventional boundaries, encouraging a mindset that sees opportunity in every challenge.”
Dr.John Ekure, quoted by Peterson Lodou Otwakai Okwangadude
Dr. Ekure’s “Changing Our World,” as he describes it, fits perfectly within the logic of our CPAR Uganda programme mission to “mentor young people to possess an attitude of self-reliance and to innovate interventions for positive change in our communities.”
Among the guests at the “Changing Our World” book launch were distinguished persons of high standing, including the Vice Chairman Eastern Region for the ruling National Resistance Movement Party, Flight Captain Mike Mukula, who is as well a hugely successful businessman in his own right.
We, at CPAR Uganda, look forward to buying and to reading “Changing Our World” and to use our learning from it to contribute to positively impacting the communities in which we live and work in Greater Northern Uganda – Teso, Bukedi, Karamoja, Lango, Acholi and West Nile.
