For us, perhaps, no other news beats notification that “project funds are on the way ,,, have been disbursed and should arrive on your organisation’s bank account shortly.”
Getting this kind of amazingly fantastic news, in the past, has elicited pure excitement from me. I ululate. I dance and them I immediately inform the target beneficiaries that we are good to go.
Then it is field trip planning time with my teams, so that we can go as soon as possible to do that which contributes to our vision of building healthy communities. Contributing to impact such as consciously awakening disadvantaged youth to the ‘hidden sources of funds’ that are within their means.

We recently received such “great, amazingly fantastic” news for our “Restore eye sight & worth of rural poor in Uganda” for which we are fundraising via GlobalGiving; and we are notified of a disbursement of funds.

As soon as the Ebola outbreak is confirmed contained, we will go out to the field, a rural setting, to give “great, amazingly fantastic news” to disadvantaged individuals in need of eye care services. I am looking forward to this!
