Knowledge sharing

Daily writing prompt
What do you do to be involved in the community?

Knowledge sharing mostly via our website is a key part of our mission and it is also a major way in which we stay involved in the community.

For example, the most viewed post, “Population of Uganda 45.9 million,” on our blog last year, contains a user-friendly summary of the Uganda National Population Census Report 2024. And it remains the top post on our blog, so far, this year.

First published in June 2021, “Uganda National Household Survey 2019/2020 Summary” remained among top posts on our blog, coming in second as the most viewed in 2024.

And with which our community – followers and readers of our blog engaged in a way that our learning was enhanced:

“Great report. Would like to know reasons for increases in poverty in some regions, and those for reductions in others. This would contribution to ideas for improving poverty eradication activities in the country.” Commented Jerome Kubiraba

“Importation overwhelming exportation is the major cause of poverty in Uganda. Why from the office of the president to the smallest office here don’t use locally made seats?? Or can’t we make like 4 big clothes factory here?Such that we limit foreign clothes here? The population of 47 million can consume that?” Commented Isembatia Alex.

We love it when our blog posts trigger and generate valid discussion that generates for us and our readers good food for thought for future action. Including protective action as these two top posts are intended to:

The third most viewed post on our blog in 2024 was, is “Know Traffic Offenses Penalties are on Driver & Vehicle?” in which we provide an advisory from our own experiential learning.

And similarly, an advisory post, “Caution-Monkey Pox (MPOX) out break in EA,” we authored and published in August 2024, is the 2nd most viewed post on our blog so far this year.

We invite you to join our community by engaging with us via comments to our pages and posts.
