Healthcare Services
Nursing Students
Our program for hosting nursing students at our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Center in Lira continued. Students from other parts of the country pursuing courses in institutions in Lira had a safe and conducive environment to safely reside and to study.
Gulu Medical Center
Steady progress was made towards establishing our CPAR Uganda Medical Center in Gulu City, in partnership with Dr. Robert Kidega, our Associate. When it is is completed, the goal is to run it as a social enterprise that will provide much needed medical services.

Health Research and Advocacy
Research and policy advocacy to contribute towards ending tuberculosis (TB) in Uganda continues. So does our advocacy for provision of eye care services to members of disadvantaged and marginalized communities.
We are using our GlobalGiving page to spread the word and to raise funds to implement our projects:
- End 90,000 people getting TB annually in Uganda.
- Restore eyesight and worth of rural poor in Uganda.

Livelihoods Enhanced
Significant progress was made to modify our property on Y. K. Museveni Road in Pader Town Council into a social enterprise and a center of excellence in providing livelihood training and mentoring for poor, but active smallholder farmers.
We continued advocating and fundraising for provision of financial literacy and loans for women in Uganda.
