Modern society, at least in our neck of the woods, has normalized inequality and blame the masses for their deprivation.

You are poor because you are not as brilliant as the 1% kind of logic.

You are poor because you are not hardworking flawed logic applied to ‘blue collar workers’ who actually do the work.

Rendering the majority to chase for the untenable, because the current system has in fact normalized the 1% versus the 99% divide.

I would change the definition of development away from that which focuses on material possessions – Gross Domestic Product (GDP)

I would promote the definition of development as that which focuses on egalitarian society.

So that the more developed countries would be those with the least inequality.

As in they may be less materially resourced, but what they have is more equally shared among its people.
