Last day help CPAR Uganda access share of $215,000

Stimulate development, dissemination and widespread application of technologies appropriate to Uganda is the mission of CPAR Uganda.

Today is the last day to have your donation boosted during GlobalGiving’s Passport to Purpose campaign.

If we come together to raise just $500 (about 1.25 million shillings) this week, CPAR Uganda will be able to procure all training equipment we need for training 25 tuberculosis (TB) research change agents.

Trained TB research change agents will continuously conduct research among and for disadvantaged communities in five districts in greater northern Uganda; the poorest region in the country.

Until 5:00 p.m. EDT (midnight Uganda time), gifts up to $1,000 (about 3.5 million shillings) will be proportionally matched!  The more donations an organization receives, the larger their share of $215,000 GlobalGiving Passport to Purpose Incentive Fund!

Help enable vital life-saving TB research in Uganda today: https://goto.gg/68772

The trend of 90,000 Ugandans annually infected with TB due to insufficient knowledge about the disease and implementation of inappropriate TB interventions won’t go away overnight.

But together, we know we can make a difference for indigent TB patients and their households by inspiring appropriate affordable and accessible interventions for TB management.

TB is a debilitating diseases, but which is avoidable, treatable and can be stopped.

Forever grateful,

Team CPAR Uganda
