The power of media for good

Guess what. The history of how our CPAR Uganda Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre came in to being is linked to the fact that “in 1984 shocking photographs of men, women and children on the verge of starvation in Ethiopia were seen around the world.”

How amazing it is that a legacy grant in memory of Dr. Paul Hargrave via the Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief will be partly utilized to conduct media training at the Media for Education and Development Hub, being established at our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre.

Please help us to spread the word to eligible youth so they may benefit from this opportunity to learn from the best in the business and to be trained and mentored in to media change agents.

The training will be hands-on practical master classes in different aspects of media and thereafter media experts will mentor our media change agents to horn their media skills for the greater good.
