Say no to gender-based violence

Stimulating development, dissemination and widespread application of technologies suitable to Uganda is the mission of CPAR Uganda.

“The majority, 73% (10,276) of the 14,126 victims in cases of domestic violence that were reported to the Uganda Police Force in 2024, were women.”

And so, through our first cohort of Media Change Agents in training, our jointly implemented Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre Human Development Project joins the rest of the world in the 16 days of activism against gender-based violence campaign 2025.

Composed and acted by the learners themselves using their learning in the training focused on nurturing them into excellent behavioral change communicators for their respective communities.

And there is more, working with our Media Training Team, led by Mr. Luswata Philip, our learners participated in doing the video editing as they practiced video editing skills they are getting as part of the training.
