Healthcare Services

Renovated our property in Loro Sub-County and converted it into a parish level health care center for maternal health services provision and a maternity ward. Provided logistical support, covered human resources costs and provided drugs that enabled the full functioning of the center.

Strengthen the capacities of health centers in emergency obstetrics care, under the wider Reproductive Health Access Information and Services in Emergency (RAISE) Program.

Livelihoods Enhanced

Supported livelihoods of thousands of farmers under the Farmers First Program, jointly implemented with Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR). And facilitated attainment of food security for hundreds of households under our Abim Food Security Project.

Mission

CPAR Uganda is on a mission to stimulate the development. dissemination, and widespread application of technologies suitable for conditions in developing countries, in order to contribute to building healthy communities.

In 2010/2011, we did exactly that and we are proud of our achievements.

    To me I was pleased by the renovation of Loro sub county in order to convert it into a health care center II to serve as an out patient department which i know it helped the community to access good and quick health services than the way they get it in government health centers

    It is in rare cases that NGOs can use the Grants given to them and remains with a surplus. In this annual report, CPAR Uganda clearly shows us how it was able to use the surplus money from the previous financial year to partially cover the deficit of the current financial year. This shows that CPAR Uganda is trustworthy.
