Champion of knowledge-sharing

Self-Reliant Participatory Development in action

To answer today’s daily writing prompt: “how would you describe yourself to someone who can’t see you,” we thought, why not find out what online search results people get when they ask: “What is CPAR Uganda?”

“A Ugandan nonprofit, champions knowledge-sharing and social good, advocating for inclusive education, health awareness, and empowering youth with practical life skills.

CPAR Uganda champions social good, from fighting human trafficking to boosting financial literacy and honoring Dr. Paul Hargrave’s legacy.

The X community praises CPAR Uganda for empowering women and tackling social issues, with Norah Owaraga highlighting their impactful work.

“Civic Education Lesson 001: The motto of Uganda is “For God and My Country.”  So, what have you done for your Country today?”

Google

“CPAR Uganda is an independent Ugandan non-profit organization focused on improving the well-being of people in Greater Northern Uganda.

Their mission is to stimulate the development, dissemination, and widespread application of technologies suitable for developing countries.

They address social and environmental factors impacting health, like access to food, water, sanitation, and healthcare.

They focus on building health system capacity and supporting healthy lives through training and infrastructure.

CPAR Uganda was initially a country program of the Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR).”

We agree

This is a good way in which we would describe our organisation to someone who can’t see it – us its employees and the work that we do enabling disadvantaged communities improve their lot and build healthy communities.
