Due to popular demand, our second CPAR Youth Media Training, under our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre Human Development Project, jointly implemented with Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR), is now scheduled to take place next month, from 5th to 17th April 2026.
Lessons from last year’s training of the First Cohort of CPAR Youth Media Change Agents factored in, the focus of our second CPAR Youth Media Training is on storytelling through photography.
“My work is driven by the idea that visual storytelling and images have the power to change the world.”

Bequeathing Ugandan youth with life skills and livelihood opportunities through which they have the power to positively change their respective communities, in particular, Uganda, as a whole and the world, in general, is the intention.
The best in the business will lend their expertise to us, the implementing partners, CPAR Uganda and CPAR, and they, the experts, will conduct a YOUTHS’ SKILLS DEVELOPMENT MASTERCLASS on The Essentials of Photography.
The training is residential and will be held at the CPAR Uganda Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre in Lira City in Northern Uganda.
An exciting opportunity on offer to 30 youth (ages 18–24 years) and from disadvantaged backgrounds that is made possible through a generous legacy grant from kin of the late Dr. Paul Hargrave via CPAR.
Priority will be given to youth from and resident in Greater Northern Uganda – West Nile, Madi, Acholi, Lango, Teso, Karamoja and Bukedi sub-regions, CPAR Uganda’s strategic geographic area of operation.
