Stimulating development, dissemination and widespread application of technologies suitable for Uganda is the mission of CPAR Uganda.

Eid Mubarak! And it is Sunday! Days on which it is typical for family and friends to cook up a storm, so to speak; and to share a meal.

Plenty excuse to “pile food on the plate, some is not finished and is thrown away. Why serve what you cannot finish,” asks Joan Kabayambi. Read more of Joan’s reporting on food waste in the New Vision.

Yes, courtesy of GlobalGiving, we, at CPAR Uganda, learnt that 30th March is International Day of Zero Waste.

Think about it. And we hope you will decide to find and stop waste in all aspects of your life. Wishing you a blessed and waste-less week!

In this case, atap accompanied with emalakany (green leafy vegetable) cooked in groundnuts sauce; with rice and chicken.
