Ogal, thank you for your great description from a user’s perspective of our Reading Room, located within our Lira Learning Centre that is located on Plot 5 Makerere Road, sharing boundaries with the Golf Course on the one side and the District Health Office on the other side.
In addition to non-fiction and academic publications, we also have plenty of novels in our reading room which you can read for leisure – nourishing your mind and traveling the world through books.
Users of our Reading Room don’t have to go far to look for refreshments. Within our Lira Learning Centre is a canteen and a kitchen from whence one can easily access snacks, drinks and nice food.
At our Lira Learning Centre, we also have a fully-fledged business centre in which we offer typing, printing and photocopying services.
We have a lot of room at our Lira Learning Centre, as well, to accommodate those who want to hold meetings, discussions, drama practice, etc., both indoors and outdoors.
