On the 20th March, 2022 we learnt with profound sadness about the passing away of our beloved Speaker of the 11th Parliament of Uganda, the Right Honourable Jacob Lokori Oulanyah.
The Rt Hon Jacob Oulanya was friend, mentor and supporter of CPAR Uganda. He was a youthful, charismatic and energetic personality. He embodied the spirit of development, youth empowerment, time keeping and distinguished service.
The people of Uganda, northern region, Omoro District and in particular the youth will miss deeply his dedicated service.
May you now rest in eternal peace. May the spirit of friendship, peacemaking, youth empowerment you exemplified be emulated and guide the people whose lives you touched be continued.
