Mr. Alex Bwangamoi Okello, is the seasoned and morally upright civil servant to emulate; and of whom Uganda needs more of.

We, at CPAR Uganda, are delighted to read in the press, this morning:

His Excellency, President Yoweri K. Museveni, exercising his constitutional powers, has appointed Mr. Okello Principal Private Secretary in the Office of the Vice President

Prior Mr, Okello has served as:

• Permanent Secretary of the Directorate of Ethics and Integrity in the Office of the President.
• Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Works and Transport.

Mr. Okello is a Founder Member of CPAR Uganda Ltd. He currently serves as a Board Member and the Finance Chair of CPAR Uganda.

As his fellow CPAR Uganda Board Members do, Mr. Okello voluntarily gives of his time and expertise in service of our nonprofit and its constituency. Donating financial resources for its running and implementation of our mission:

Stimulating the development, dissemination and widespread application of technologies suitable and adaptable for Uganda.

We have no doubt that in his new role, Principal Private Secretary, Mr. Okello will continue his stellar contribution for the greater good.
