Enterprising disadvantaged women and youth that are the inspiration of our “Uganda women’s economic empowerment loan fund” project, this is a great opportunity for you.

“Opportunity Bank (U) Ltd in partnership with Opportunity International is collaborating with the Federation of Small and Medium-Enterprises and the SME Academy with support from Argidius Foundation to implement an MSME Accelerator Program.

The program is aimed at accelerating the growth and impact of 2,820 Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, in order to create sustainable jobs and employment opportunities.

Special attention shall be given to:

  • Youth
  • Women
  • Persons with Disabilities
  • Refugees
  • Refugee host communities

The beneficiary MSMEs will be selected from the following districts:

  • Kampala
  • Mukono
  • Jinja
  • Masaka
  • Soroti
  • Lira
  • Mubende
  • Hoima.

They will be benefit through accessing diverse business development service options such as:

  • Business training
  • Mentoring/coaching
  • Market linkages
  • Networking

Additionally, eligible MSMEs shall have access to tailored financial products and services offered by Opportunity Bank Uganda Limited.”
