Reviving our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Center

On a mission to stimulate the development. dissemination, and widespread application of technologies suitable for conditions in developing countries.

Jointly with Canadian Physicians for Aid and Relief (CPAR), CPAR Uganda, will implement a 16-months project that will train and skill 180 Ugandans from disadvantaged backgrounds.

With the intent to contribute towards enhancing Uganda’s human development,

An action made possible by a legacy grant left to CPAR by kin of the late Dr. Paul Hargrave, with a wish that it be used to support our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre in Lira City, in Northern Uganda.

During the last two months, we have severally lost track of time as we brainstormed; developed the project planning matrix; wrote the project proposal; made the project budget; and more.

Coordinating with our colleagues in Canada over different time zones, but in some instances feeling like we were in the same time zone.

We are excited that our hard work has paid off and we have entered into memorandum of understanding. The project will start this month!
