Stimulate development, dissemination and widespread application of technologies suitable for Uganda is the mission of CPAR Uganda.

How interesting that today, we beginning training Cohort 6 of our Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre Human Development Project – training Self-Reliant Participatory Development Change Agents in Business Capital.

Trainees

Cohort 6 is composed of successful applicants who were chosen from Lango Sub-Region, the majority; Teso Sub-Region; and Acholi Sub-Region.

The ones who were chosen from Karamoja Sub-Region, we have received reports that the may not be able to make it.

  • Understanding Factors of Production
  • Pre-Conditions for Success of Savings Schemes
  • Establishing and Operating Savings Schemes
  • Group Funds / Investment Clubs
  • Pre-Conditions for Success of Credit Schemes
  • Establishing and Operating Credit Schemes
  • When to Access External Credit
  • Managing External Credit

Training Team

Ms. Norah Owaraga, our Managing Director, is the Team Leader and she will be assisted by Akello Lucy, Pule Godwin and Lawoko Emmanuel.

All three trainer assistants are beneficiaries of Dr. Paul Hargrave Memorial Centre Human Development Project, who are continuing their mentorship journey with CPAR Uganda.
