Impact Report 2009/2010

Training and equipping healthcare services providers is key.

Livelihoods Enhanced

Thousands of smallholder farmers (at least 27,338) received training, agricultural inputs (animals, seeds and other planting material) and other materials that enhanced their ability to meet their basic and genuine needs.

Health Services

8,090 community members received training and counselling services. Four sub-county level health centers received drugs and technical support which enabled better provision of reproductive health services to their clients. Communities received knowledge on mine risk.

Water and Sanitation

15,600 households and users of 10 schools received water vessels for safe storage of water. And 7,000 people who were sensitized on appropriate sanitation.

Community Facilitators Trained

Over 400 members of advocacy and village health teams trained.

Mission

CPAR Uganda is on a mission to stimulate the development. dissemination, and widespread application of technologies suitable for conditions in developing countries, in order to contribute to building healthy communities.

In 2009/2010, we did exactly that and we are proud of our achievements.
